Email lead parser integration

A good marketer in business often gets leads from all over the internet. Emails from here. Emails from there. Yet it is difficult to followup on all of them consistently. Ultimately for most sales organizations, lack of systematized followup on multiple channels (i.e. email, phone calls, voice broad casts, SMS, snail mail etc) is the reason they don’t reach their full profit potential.  Many of these leads fall through the crack.  An email parser can be set to automatically add data from those inquiries right into your database and then set up a follow up sequence.  For instance a real estate broker might get a lead from zillow.com regarding a specific property in his gmail.com inbox. He can set a filter in his inbox to forward it to his email parser.  The email parser extracts the phone number and message and name and puts that all into a CRM, spreadsheet or an email newsletter system.  The prospect immediately gets an auto-response thanking them for the inquiry, and then a setup similar to the web form integration scenario previous mentioned is triggered and the consumer gets an immediate response. Complex Web Database Lookup By Phone

For real estate agents you could have your properties from the MLS available to callers. You could put one phone number on all your for sale or for rent signs.  When a caller calls in the system prompts the caller to enter the property address number. If there is more than one property with that number the system will allow the caller to choose from that list of properties and then listen to detailed information on that property, read text to voice. The caller can request a showing, or request text messages be sent when that property updates in price or status.  The caller can also search the ENTIRE MLS database and allow caller to get text message updates based on zip code or city of new properties listed and price changes. Caller could also use the number as a tool to look up addresses when they see a for sale sign.  Using this method a real estate agent could become the agent of choice for buyers because the number belongs to them. And this type of system opens up endless possibilities. While the caller is still listening to information the agent who owns the phone number could be called by the system. Then the caller could be told “hey John Johns Agent is on the call right now and can talk to you with questions. Press 1 to talk to him 2 to reject.”  Also the caller can get text messages with a map and pictures of properties after they listen to info.  In the future an agent can market to all people who have inquired on similar properties to a new listing using voice blasts, text blasts etc and it can be used as a tool to get listings.

Professional Ring back Tones For your Niche

Clever marketers always create niche marketing sites and niche campaigns. An attorney may handle probate law, traffic law, and patent law.  However no one wants their life and death issues to be handled by a generalist, especially by a generalist that they have no prior relationship with.  The solution is to create an experience for a new prospect that shows that you have a specialty in an area. This gives them confidence.  You can create a persona for your traffic law practice with one phone number, one email address, one web address, one google local profile, one youtube profile, one twitter profile, one facebook fanpage profile and a slightly altered address (i.e. add an A to your unit number – ask me why this is important).  Sounds complex but it is simpler than you think and there are people that handle this for you (i.e. me).   You set the phone number so that when someone calls they hear a tailored message about your business spoken by a polished voice actor with professional music in the background.  The text would be something like this “Hi thanks for calling John Jones attorney.  While you are waiting for him to pick up let me tell you a little bit about what other people like your self have said about his practic. Sherry from the bronx said “I would never use anyone else for a probate matter. He really took care of me” Jason from buffulo said “He bailed me out of a series situation on the death of my mom. What a relief to have him help me that way” etc ”  The key is that the testimonials are about the niche you are working in.  When I first got in business and was in my early twenties. I had no sales experience and relied heavily on marketing creativity to presell people because I wasn’t comfortable in sales presentation especially considering that I was selling some very large ticket items and I came from a nerdy non social engineering background.  However when people called me through my ringback number that was setup like that, the respect in their voices was palpable. Now for my various businesses I setup separate numbers and I get more for my money because I do this.  TRUST ME… ringbacks done like I teach are real winners and they are not half as expensive as you might think!

Detailed Call Record Keeping

Busy businesses and professionals would make so much more money if they always kept great records on all incoming and outgoing calls. Yet honestly it is difficult to remember to do this when you are pulled in 50 kazillion ways. Take me. I am a real estate broker with multiple agents. I am secret agent man.  I am also a dad working from a home office. I have calls coming from every which way and taking advantage of leads is so difficult.  How would you like it if you got an email the second an incoming call comes in.  The email could include information and notes on the contact who has called, which the phone application has pulled from your contact manager. For me my gmail window is always open.  So I would see that and make notes in a reply email as I talk.  Then when the call is over I just hit send and the notes are parsed and input automatically as a new note record in your CRM/ contact manager. That way at the beginning of the call you are given notes, and by the end of the call you make a note with out ever having to open your CRM and actually look up that contact.

In addition to recording your notes on a CRM, there are many other options. For instance you could record calls and attache the link to the recordings in your CRM notes.  You could also have the calls automatically dictated and emailed to you. You could have call times and lengths recorded in the CRM notes. There are legal and ethical issues with recording calls. But most states allow phone call recording with only one party having knowledge.  When you are training a new sales person. It is so important to be able to record conversations so that he or she can go review those and get actual feedback as to how he or she is doing.  We could easily record conversations on all phone calls and then post links to the audio to CRM notes for that contact. Or they could be simply emailed. Again another way advanced telephone setups can save you money and increase your income.

SMS Autoresponder

SMS messaging is hot.  Local retail businesses especially are using SMS messaging almost exclusively to drive triple digit increases in sales.  The reason SMS messages are so successful is that unlike email, promotional SMS messages are gotten instantly and have almost a 100 percent open rate.  An SMS compared to email is like a postcard vs a letter.

Also text messaging has increased exponentially even with the older than teen croud  For the teen croud of course you may know depending on if you are parent of a teen or not, that many teens don’t talk at all anymore. They just text… LOL…  But us old folks are doing a lot of text messages as well. Even in business settings.

The key to SMS success in marketing is having a large targeted list of people that want to get your offers and promotions and news.  There are 4 keys to getting a large list is:

  1. Having people that generally like you or your company
  2. Having an great sign up offer that would incentivize people to sign up for SMS updates and or offers. For a pizza place you might offer to text them a free small pizza coupon instantly as soon as they sign up for SMS message alerts.
  3. Keep people on the list by not spamming them by giving them texts they want to see.  It will take trial and error to know what your list wants to see and how often they want to hear from you.  Experiment and you will get feedback. People always like special discounts.  Depending on the crowd the like to here occasional news as well.
  4. Make it easy to sign up and put instructions to sign up everywhere. In store signs. On your website. On your emails. On receipts. On bags. Everywhere!
